This problem will not persist for long and will not feel in the last 13 weeks of the pregnancy i.e. in the third trimester and there will be no mood swings that were more in the first weeks of pregnancy. In the second trimester there is a possibility of constipation as baby grows it presses against the bowel. This problem can e avoided by consuming fiber rich diet helping in the bowel movement. Other such changes noticed are the appearance of dark lines on the lower abdomen called the lines negra. Your BabyBy the end of the 13th week baby’s organ, system and structures are formed fully and the pumping of heart will have begun pumping some blood everyday to through its body. Growth of nerve system and spinal cord is on progress causing some pain to the baby. In the second trimester baby’s organs will be so developed that it will have started to empty his or her bladder once in every 40 to 45 minutes. Limb movements will be vigorous. Legs will be developed and head will be erect. This stage gender and other movements are easily detectable through ultrasound. In the lat weeks of third trimester baby will have grown full and his movements will have slowed down due to the lack of space inside and the soft covering of the head will have gone and hairs will take the place on the head. At the last weeks of delivery baby will have developed and will be building a layer of fat for controlling of body temperature to the environment outside soon after birth. Lungs will remain the last part in the baby to develop and he will be ready to greet the world with its complete development. By now he is 20 inches in length and weighs around 7 pounds. In mothers baby will have reached pelvis now and the center of gravity in the body is shifted making you miss the balance and fall down. This is the time to have a supporting person always with. Breathing will be easier as baby is lowered and diaphragm is not pressed, but the bladder will be pressed by the uterus. Last weeks are always sensible and are considered to be more vital for safety of baby and mother. |
