Implantation Bleeding Symptoms

Most of the time it has been found that the implantation bleeding is mistaken as menstrual bleeding i.e. The fertilized egg gets itself implanted in the uterus; there are chances that you may find a slight occurrence of bleeding this is then often mistaken as menstrual bleeding.

What are the symptoms of bleeding due to implantation?

It takes around a couple of days before the fertilized egg is implanted into the uterus. Sometimes this is followed by slight bleeding, though not all experience this kind of problem. If you miss your periods and there is no bleeding then there is no doubt that you are pregnant. Sometimes this bleeding may make you feel that you have not conceived.

As the fertilized egg is implanted soon after fertilization the spotting is often mistaken as bleeding though technically speaking it does not have any resemblance to the color of the menstrual bleeding and the color is also slightly lighter than that of the menstrual bleeding it is mistaken as mini-period.

Women who have to undergo a lot of stress in their day to day life may face this kind of mini-period problem along with other medical health problems. Most of the time spotting is neglected as mini-periods rather than the bleeding due to implantation especially if you are not very keen on getting pregnant.

Pregnancy and related symptoms

If you have missed your periods then there is no doubt that you are pregnant and the symptoms most often faced by all are: Nausea, tenderness of the breast, increased fatigue etc.

There are home pregnancy test kits available in the market which gives accurate test result. These test kits give a positive result a few days prior to the monthly menstrual cycle though the result may be positive it is always advisable to get a test redone at a certified lab or at the doctor’s clinic to confirm the test result. Blood test report is the most accurate ones and the report can confirm the pregnancy even when the urine test is not able to detect the pregnancy.

The reasons can be:

Miscarriage: Though this may not be the reason during early pregnancy but then you need to inform your doctor about it.

Ectopic pregnancy: Bleeding during pregnancy can occur when the fetus gets implanted in the ovarian tube or the fallopian tube and the bleeding that occurs often leaves you with a lot of discomfort. Ectopic pregnancies are rare.

Cause of worry?
