Testing the blood type can allow the doctors to take proper measures to try and save the baby, however, this also depends a lot on many other factors as well. Special tests will also allow the doctors to figure out your present health status in regards to your minerals levels especially during pregnancy. Minerals like Iron and calcium are very important for the development of the fetus and acids like folic acid are a must when it comes to the development of the brain. These tests are normally done a few times during pregnancy to make sure that you are taking all the necessary supplements that you require to keep your pregnancy as healthy as possible. There are other special tests like a pap test which is done to check the changes of the cervix. Also, any kind of infections like STD or Chlamydia can be considered dangerous during pregnancy, and if they are detected well in advance, they can be dealt with in the proper manner. It is extremely important to undergo all these kinds of tests and those that your doctor recommends to be able to have a safe and healthy pregnancy. |
