Early Pregnancy TestThere are a lot of tests that are available today to determine the pregnancy in women. These tests though are not 100 % accurate will give clear information about the start of pregnancy. Some of the pregnancy tests that are used to determine the early pregnancy tests are given below. Home Pregnancy Test KitHome Pregnancy test kit is a more familiar kit used nowadays by women to determine the pregnancy. This kit is available in the market with affordable prices. This type of test gives 97% accuracy results. Very rarely this test will give false results. Some of the situations when this test gives false results is before 7 days of missed periods. During this days the hCG level in the urine will be very less in the early stages of pregnancy. Thus due to this the test will not detect the pregnancy. After a week from the missed period, if the test is conducted a second time, it provides correct results. This is because by the time the hCG level in the urine has been increased, the test will be able to detect the pregnancy in the women. Thus if the test is done at this point of time, mostly a week latter from missed period, it will show the correct results. This Early Home pregnancy test kit is more efficient during the morning hours because in the morning the urine gets built up from night, thus giving more chances to get correct results. Blood TestThe other type of the pregnancy test is the blood test. This is done in clinics and hospitals by doctors to test pregnancy. This test has an approximate accuracy of 99% . The blood test for pregnancy could be done even seven days before the missed period, which still provides the same accuracy. If the blood tests show a negative result, then a second test could be done to confirm the existence of pregnancy. These negative results might be caused due to mistakes done during the tests. These blood tests are common and is done in almost all the clinics and hospitals. Another advantage of Blood tests is that it also infer other health parameters along with the pregnancy test like blood pressure, diabetes, etc. It is always advised to conduct the tests twice or thrice in order to confirm the pregnancy. Also it is advised to go to frequent medical check up if the women sees the symptoms of pregnancy. |
