Early Pregnancy Test

Today, there are home pregnancy test kits are available with the sensitivity of 6.5mIU. This means that the pregnancy is detected the moment the embryo gets attached itself with uterine wall. In this case, the amount of hCG hormones initially in the body will be very low. Though there are pregnancy test kits that can detect pregnancy very early, it is not advised. There are few reasons why the women are not asked to go for the early pregnancy tests. They are as follows.

Fertility Drugs

There are cases when the women consume the fertility drugs for some medical treatments. This fertility drugs has a little quantity of artificial hCG hormone available in them. When the women consumes them, these artificial hCG hormones gets added into their blood stream and urine. Latter on when the test is been conducted, it will show a false positive results as the test kit may determine the artificial hCG hormones as the natural pregnancy hormones produced by the placenta. Thus it shows a positive pregnancy results. Thus it is advised not to have a pregnancy test when the women has consumed the fertility drugs. Instead she can wait for few days and perform the pregnancy tests in order to avoid the false positive results. Thus the women should be very careful while selecting the home pregnancy test kit. They should be careful enough to get an ordinary home pregnancy test kit rather than a very sensitive home pregnancy test kits.

False Pregnancies Detected

In women, the hCG hormones are produced by the placenta once the embryo gets attached itself with the uterine wall. There are chances that the embryo attached stop its growth after producing a little hCG hormones. Latter on these embryo gets dissolved in the following menstrual period. When the women performs early home pregnancy test, it may detect the small amount of this hCG hormones and confirms a pregnancy. But actually this will not lead to pregnancy. More over the women will get irritated and tensed when she is tested positive for pregnancy and latter on gets the menstrual periods. In order to avoid this scenario it is better to perform the pregnancy test as late as possible.

Though getting the pregnancy results early is possible, there are also chances that the results may be false positive results. Thus the ladies should know these s and the problems occurring due to performing an early pregnancy tests. Thus it is advised to consult a doctor once the early pregnancy test results in positive. This will avoid further complications.
