EPT Pregnancy Test Results

The EPT pregnancy test result is easy to read whether you get the digital test or not. But it does not have a doctor to verify results of tests to confirm the pregnancy. The women who takes up the tests has to take up the decisions regarding the tests. Thus reading the results and verifying the pregnancy has been a tuff task.

Result window of Various Kits

There are different types of home pregnancy test Kits. Each kit provides different ways to interpret the results. In some kits the color change in the main stream strip is taken as the inference rule for pregnancy in women. In most of the kits, a plus or minus mark is visible on the mainstream strip based upon the results. If the pregnancy is positive, then a plus mark is visible. Otherwise a minus mark is visible. These are the regular pregnancy test kits. Most recent pregnancy test kits has a digital result window to display the results. If a positive result comes in the test, then the digital display shows PREGNANT, else it will show NOT PREGNANT. These tests take hardly 5 minutes time to get the results which is way ahead comparing the previous EPT pregnancy test kits.

Usage of EPT

Previously in EPT pregnancy tests, the test involved couple of hours. The urine is collected in a cup and it is mixed with the medical dropper and blood cell of sheep and poured in a test tube. This solution is kept un disturbed for two hours in a dark place. After two hours using a mirror a black ring is potted which confirms the existence of pregnancy.

Choice of the kit

Today there are lots of choices of pregnancy test kits. Each kit varies from each other in their sensitivity, cost and reliability. In terms of reliability EPT has been the best choice for the past 30 years. But very few prefer to take up EPT has it is not cheap and more sensitive. Equate has been a Walmart brand which is the costliest home pregnancy test kit available. It has a very good sensitivity but we pay a lot for the brand name alone. The fast response pregnancy test kit is able to detect the pregnancy with 6.5mIU levels of hCG hormones. Thus it is up to the users to buy the most suitable pregnancy test kit. The more we pay the more sensitive pregnancy kit we get. Generally professionals advise not to take up the pregnancy tests early as it may lead to lot of false results. Thus getting a reliable pregnancy kit is the best.
