EPT Pregnancy Test Instructions

The Home Pregnancy test kits available in the market, do not tell anything about the sensitivity or days when the test could be performed. Generally women will feel like performing the test too early. This is not recommended as it may lead to lot of false results. EPT pregnancy test especially has lot of procedure and instructions to be followed before reaching the results. Even a slight change in the procedure may lead to change in the expected results.

EPT has an average sensitivity comparing other home pregnancy tests. The EPT has the ability to test 40mIU levels of hCG hormones. It is very reliable and robust to errors. This is the reason why it has been renamed as the Error Proof Test (EPT).

Drawbacks of Early Testing

The hCG hormones are produced by the placenta in the uterus of the women during pregnancy. This hormone is produced when the embryo gets attached with the uterine wall of the uterus. When the women performs early pregnancy tests there are chances that the women perform the tests even when the pregnancy hormones are not produced. This will result in negative results of pregnancy. Still if the women feel that she is pregnancy then she can perform the pregnancy test once again. Using a new pregnancy test kit. Thus these situations has to be avoided, as it may lead to unnecessary tension in her minds.

When the home pregnancy kit is bought from the shop it may specify that the test could be performed in the early days of pregnancy. But there are chances that the test may fail. So irrespective of what is written in the kit it is advised to wait for some time and perform the kit.

Support for Users

The users are supposed to perform tests after reading the instructions. If they are not able to perform the test themselves or if they face with some questions or doubts, then a toll free number 800 is provided to the users where in the users can call to the number, where a nurse will be responding to the user queries round the clock. Women prefer the digital home pregnancy tests as it can be used with not much confusions and it is also easy to infer the results just looking at the digital display. They no longer need to look for the fade line formation on the strip to confirm the pregnancy.

Still if the user has doubts about her pregnancy she can consult a doctor.
