What To Wear During Pregnancy

So much thought is given to how you should eat and what you should do during pregnancy. The priority is usually given to your physical health and your mental and emotional well-being. These are very good priorities no doubt but it is important to address how a woman feels when she is pregnant. It is important for a woman to feel good about herself especially when she is pregnant and because of this I think it is important for a woman to think about what to wear during pregnancy.

Comfort is a always a goal for a woman no matter how far along she is in her pregnancy. Being pregnant is uncomfortable enough you don’t want your clothes to add to that. This rhetoric is not new however for years women have for some reason believed that in order to be comfortable your fashion sensibility has to be checked at the door. This is ridiculous! I feel comfortable in my house robe at home but I don’t feel so great in it out in the public. So why should pregnant women have to accept that comfortable means muumuus in public. Looking like poo doesn’t really make me feel all that comfortable.

There are so many comfortable alternatives for pregnant women these days that look great. There are great styles and designers just for pregnant women made with new fabrics that stretch and keep shape at the same time. The wrap top and wrap dress can be a pregnant woman’s best friend. The wrap top is great because it gives all those curves a great fit and look. Your belly is nothing to be ashamed of and the wrap top does a great job of giving it just the right fit while making your breast look great! You can wear the same size wrap top during your entire terms since they are usually made out of stretchy material and the wrap feature lets you adjust the size for a custom fit. This is a huge bonus since right now your size can change daily.

The wrap dress is just as comfortable, attractive, and versatile as the top. Yes, that’s right I said a dress. I know you think that it can’t be done. That there is no way a one-piece dress can fit all of your protrusions unless it is a big potato sack. Wrong, wrong, wrong. A wrap dress fits and hugs your curves in all the right places. This dress fits all body types even women that aren’t pregnant! The wrap feature again lets you completely customize the fit for that ever-changing pregnant belly waistline.

The wrap tops and dresses are comfortable and versatile. They are pieces that you can throw on in a jiffy and the result is polished and tailored. A top can be paired with a skirt or maternity jeans. The bottom of a wrap top is perfect for hiding the waistline of maternity pants. The wrap dress goes nicely alone or with a blazer or cardigan to go from office to dinner. Try it and I think you will find it is what to wear during pregnancy.
