What Is A Dilation Or CurettageA method of treatment which is applied in those women who are needed to be diagnosis of ailment and carrying out of surgery in cases of excessive bleeding in uterus of those women is known as Dilation and Curettage. This particular diagnostic process is considered in the category of Common Diagnostic and Treatment Surgery. Mostly, it is operated on women and it is also a method of proper check up for any growth of cancerous tissues inside the uterus. In some cases, the surgery becomes necessary as the bleeding through uterus increases too much and this situation is quite common in women. Dilation and curettage is a regular surgical process that is used to help women specially in cases of excessive bleeding caused by abortion. Such situations are more common in young women who have just started to experience the menstrual cycles or in some elderly women who are about to reach their menopausal state. External bleeding may also be caused due to tumours in the uterus. The growth in the uterus may be cancerous or it may not be cancerous. It becomes necessary to check and cure the issue irrespective of it being cancerous or not because in both cases it is deadly. Fibroid and Polyps tumours are common problems in women. These cancerous or non-cancerous tumours can be easily treated and cured by applying and using the treatment through Dilation and Curettage. Excessive bleeding is also a symptom of cancerous growth. The risks of cancer are more in elder women. The cancer of such type is termed as eudiometrical cancer. This cancer is normal in those women who already have entered in their menopausal state or are about to enter it. |
