In some cases of pregnancy and delivery, more than one child takes birth as twins, quadruple, quintuples, and triplets. Such cases are termed as cases of multiple births. For quadruplet, the probability goes abysmally low to 1 case in 700 thousand cases may be a quadruplet and for quintuplets, it is around 1 in 70 million or more.

During the process of pregnancy if the doctor observes that your uterus is growing much more than the average growth of uterus in pregnant mothers, the doctor will decide for proper ultrasound tests and that will reveal whether the increased uterus is because of some other issue or is it a case of multiple births? As a matter of fact, the cases of multiple births can be revealed mostly in or during the 2nd trimester.

Multiple birth may increase your responsibility and may be the risks.
