Baby Movements During Pregnancy

The feeling of being pregnant may create a lot of stress and tension in a woman’s life, yet surmising about the child and thought about the cute little yet to be born toddler safe in her or his mother’s womb helps the woman to0 fight against all the tensions and worries. The feeling and experience of the first movement by the baby in the mother’s womb becomes the best ever feeling for the mother whose imprints and memory never goes away from her mind.

Baby’s First Movement

The baby in the womb is a very tiny life. The movements of the baby are often termed as the baby kicks. When the kicks become regular and vigorous, the mother can feel the presence of child in a well manner. During the first pregnancy, the mother may fail to realize these movements by the child as she remains unaware of these feelings.

Reason behind the Baby Movements

As the child in the womb grows up, the baby tries to stretch and flex the limbs and joints and further during the pregnancy the mother will notice the punches, the kicks and the rolling of the baby in her womb. Certain noises may also make the baby move.

How often should the baby move

As a matter of fact, there is no accurate answer for this particular question. Yet, the baby in a womb never moves continuously. The movement are very ignorable during the earlier stage of pregnancy and most of the women fail to recognize them. Sometimes, the mother can feel the movements of the baby only when the baby gets a little mature.

How the doctor may help during the parental visits.

The doctor investigates about the medical history of the pregnant woman and examines her by weighing her, checking the blood pressure of the woman at every visit. During the first doctor visit, the doctor may examine the pelvic of the mother that will provide the size and shape of the womb and will inform if there are any infections. Urine and blood tests will also be performed.

Fetal Movements During Pregnancy

The feelings of infant little toddler in the mother’s womb and his or her hiccups, kicks, wriggle, twists and punches are the most thrilling experience a pregnant mother can have. The fetal movement provide you a great feeling of pride that a new life is gradually taking shape in your womb.

Keep record of the movements

Right when the pregnant woman starts feeling the movements and kicks of the baby inside her womb, she should keep a good record of the movements and should confer about these movements to her doctor if there is any reduction in such movements during the period. You may also make a kick chart. You may mention the number of kicks in a period (day) on a paper.
