The adoption in Russia has continued to be one of the best adoption processes in the world. The citizens of the United States of America continue to search for the Russian children for the adoption purpose. In fact in the year 2005 forty six hundred Russian children were adopted by the United States citizens.

There are number of children which are available for adoption in Russia. The boys and girls available for adoption are infants and toddlers of ten to thirteen months of age.   • The mandatory part is the post placement adoptive follow ups. These follow ups occur or carried out for next three years in the intervals of six, twelve, twenty four, and thirty six months.
  • The adoptive families from outside Russia cannot be considered if the child not spent six months in the adoption agency.
