If you want to come close to your kid you must spend a good quality of time with him. You should not underestimate your toddler’s abilities. Since the rainy days are approaching your toddlers would be confined to the home. To keep your toddler busy at home you should provide them with certain craft ideas. Always keep your search on for various toddler craft ideas. You buy a toddler craft book for that, you could search on the internet, or you could discuss it with some other parents.

Creative toddler craft

Collage: This activity involves a lot of fun and is very inexpensive and easy. You could make use of a large number of materials and you could think for many creative patterns. Cover the area with a newspaper on which you are working before you begin. The first step is to put a certain amount of glue on any kind of construction paper. Just outline a picture of any animal or any object or you may also do any freehand pattern with glue and fill in between also. Now provide your toddler with a small amount of glitters, dried peas, corn meal, or even sand. Now tell your toddler to sprinkle these things on the glue. The material you are using can also used by mixing them all.

Finger painting: Before doing such kind of craft work be sure that you had dressed your toddler in old clothes. Now again cover a surface with any kind of construction paper, you may even use old printer paper rolls. Place different color paint drops in a foam plate. It would be more fun if you bring out a cookie cutter and allow your toddler to cut different patterns on the paper. Now let your toddler to imagine creative things. You could also provide him with certain sponges in funny shapes. Your toddler may also drive his toy car on directly applied paint on the paper. This would be fun day for your toddler.

Pasta necklaces: Toddler always pays interest in such kind of stuff. Use wide tubular shaped pastas so that your toddler easily threads these pastas with thread yarn or laces. You could also use food coloring agents to dye these pastas in different colors. Your toddler would like multicolored necklace.

Animal parades: Provide your toddler with crayons and paper and let him create his unique animal parade. For his simplicity draw some animals from him. Draw several animals on several sheets of construction paper. Staple these paper altogether and give your toddler to paint them. After he is finished with painting let him pull his animal parade across your home. Also teach him certain animal sounds to make his parade more interesting.

Classic ornaments: Such kind of craft involves a lot of fun and is easy to make. Dry a few beans and spray paint on them. Keep these beans to dry. Now use a card stock paper and cut out various Christmas shapes from it. Put some glue on these cutouts and tell your toddler to sprinkle his colored beans on the glue.
