Today most of the expecting women prefer to become work from home mothers putting a hold on to their careers for the benefit of their children.

Before you decide to become a full time mother you need to be prepared to give up on certain things which otherwise you would not be if you were a working women like you need to count out the cost of childcare, drying cleaning services, transportation expenses, professional cleaning, restaurant lunches, etc as it has been noticed that working will increase these expenses and staying at home will reduce these expenses.

Staying at home as a full time mother will also have to make a budget so as to cut down on certain things like you will have to cook at home which otherwise you would have done only using expensive instant cooking methods, you will have to let go the desire to go to the theaters and satisfy yourself to watch movies on the videos, along with this you will have to cut down not only on your personal expenses but will have to tell your partner to cut down on his expenses and so with older children at home.

You need to know if staying home will not bring a dent to your financial status but you also need to understand that being a full time mother can be emotionally stressful as you have to be dependent financially on your partner. You can always enroll in some hobby classes, enrolling your children in playgroups, you can also arrange for a baby-sitter so that you can interact with other moms and when you decide to get back to work you can always enroll your older children into some community betterment work and join some organization to develop newer and better job skills.
